What do all the numbers mean in on metric tire sizes?
Each number and letter in the metric tire sizes represent a different aspect of the tire. For example, a P205/75R15 tire breaks down to the following: | P = Passenger Tire. This is sometimes "LT" which stands for "Light Truck" | The Section width in millimeters, measuring from sidewall to sidewall
| The Aspect Ratio. This is a precentage of the section width that gives the sidewall highth. In this example the sidewall highth is 75% of 205mm
| R = Radial. This sometimes is VR, HR, or ZR, which denotes a V, H, or Z speed rating
| The rim diameter.
